New investment
In collaboration with RemaSawco, we are investing in a new RS-Board scanner in the adjustment plant at ELE Trävaru AB.
With a large investment that means new ways of working for our organization, it is important to quickly find the right path. Above all, to be able to deliver at the high level our customers are used to. There, the preparatory work and good support from the supplier will be A and O. That the choice fell on RemaSawco is due to the fact that the solution felt right and was also locally viable. They offered us a solution where control, sorting and mechanics are solved in a common package. A complete solution that we believe in and see potential in, which made the choice feel safe and easy.
When we at ELE move to an automatic sorting, we plan to take advantage of all the knowledge that the employees have, something that we think is very important. Our real strength lies in our employees and their knowledge and commitment. It is with that knowledge behind us that it feels so safe to take the next step in our development and invest in increased production and camera sorting in the adjustment plant. There, it feels good to take that step together with RemaSawco, which has such solid knowledge and experience.
Of course, it will be a great support to have cameras that sort our wood, but the most important thing is that we do not lose the knowledge that our employees have. Then we believe that it is very important that we get employees who have an interest in these systems to familiarize themselves with the system and then can have a main responsibility when the system is in place. I think that will be the basis for a successful project.
